Update on my surgery, June 15th, 2009, to remove a cancerous tumor on my right hip. The incision is healing but the Doctor thinks it's taking too long. I went back on December 8th and he decided to wait till January and make a decision then as to do the skin graft or not. They did the skin graft 01-13-2010 and only kept me in the hospital 1 day! Praise the Lord! Update: Only one third of the skin graft took the rest had to be removed! Now I have two sore places on my right leg, one in the incision where they removed the tumor and the other where they got the skin for the graft! We are continuing the wound vac. Maybe two more months? Today, 1-28-2010, they did a cat scan and found no sign of the cancer! Praise the Lord!!! Thank you for your prayers, keep them going up. God Bless, Charles & Datha
