What We Believe
1. All the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We should not change the Word but rather let The Word change us.
2. That "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly furnished unto all good works". (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
3. There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is Almighty and Creator of all things. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
4. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious (In our place) and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal, future return to the earth in power and glory to rule for a thousand years.
5. In the fall and sinfulness of man and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the blood of Christ. Salvation is a gift to be received and cannot be earned. Our responsibility is purely to receive.
6. That "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved", and with salvation comes freedom and life. As Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10).
7. That "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and all things become new!" (2 Corinthians 5:17) (We are to live as a new person in Jesus Christ. He is the vine we are a branch. John 15:5) This is the evidence of a Born Again person and is part of the work of The Holy Spirit.
8. That everyone who has the opportunity
should be baptized in water.
(Some are not physically able.) (Mark 16:16
Acts 2:41 Acts 8:12 Acts 8:36) Baptism is burying the old person you were
to be raised with Christ to newness of life. (Romans 6:4)
9. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, is given to believers who ask for it, with all the evidence manifested in the book of Acts, including speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (Acts 2:4). The Holy Ghost is a gift and cannot be earned by works. Without the fruit of The Spirit all gifts are out of harmony with God. (1 Cor. 13:1) Regeneration (all things made new) by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential to personal salvation. The new birth.
10. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
11. The Church of Jesus Christ is the universal, spiritual body of believers from every tribe, tongue, kindred and race of peoples, and is indwelt by God through the Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfill the Great Commission on earth. That we are to tell the "The Gospel of Jesus Christ" to those who do not Know Him.
12. In Divine Healing of the human body provided through the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross in answer to believing prayer. "By whose stripes we were healed." (Isa 53:5 1 Peter 2:24)
13. In the Blessed Hope, the soon return of Christ to receive His bride at His coming.
14. In the resurrection and final judgment of both the saved and the lost, the first to everlasting life and the second to everlasting damnation.
15. In the new heavens and the new earth and the holy Jerusalem, the city of God, descending out of heaven and filled with God's glory.
