Church or Bible experience?
2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
There are many thousands of people around the world, many setting in churches every week, who think they are saved but have never had a life changing experience with The Lord. This breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes. I am not in this for material gain. I want to be a witness unto my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Knowing Him will change your life.
Their church leader tells these that all they had to do was make a, “profession of faith” and join their church and they were going to heaven no matter what else they do. No repentance is required. All most of these did was add Jesus to their life. He didn't become their life. Dear reader that is a form of the gospel that has no power to deliver and set free.
With all the love I know how to use, I ask you, have you had a life changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ? Can you point to a time and place where you came face to face with reality and realized you were lost and on your way to hell? You realized you needed a Savior and His name was Jesus Christ. When you realized this did you ask Him to forgive you and come into and be Lord of your life?
When we all come to the end of this life it won't be our church, pastor, deeds, church going, or giving, that gets us to heaven. It will be a living, abiding relationship with Jesus Christ. Out of that abiding relationship will produce many, if not all, of the above but it all must be based on Jesus Christ and His finished work. There is salvation in none other.
Many are basing their salvation on their deeds, or works. Some think that if their good deeds out number the bad they are OK. These measure themselves by others and come out “Ok” in their own minds. It's commendable to want to do well but that in and of its self will not save anyone. Just quitting the wrong things in your life is not salvation. Again I say, with no apologies, that the only way to be ready for heaven is in and by Jesus Christ and Him alone!
Dear reader, have you repented and received Christ in your heart? If you have all things has become new. The person you were is dead and buried with Christ. Now you act, talk, think and live different. Is this a reality in your life? Be honest with yourself and with God. It won't be a surprise to God, He already knows!

this prayer and mean it from your heart.
Lord God Almighty
I have sinned. I repent, turn from sin, and ask You to cleanse me of all
my sin. Break the authority of sin over my life. Now I ask You to come
into my heart and live in me. Show me what You desire and give me Your
ability to be a doer of Your will. I ask in Your name Lord Jesus and thank
you for hearing and forgiving me, amen.
If you prayed that prayer, and meant it from your heart, you will see a difference in your life. Your attitude toward everything will change. Bitterness, jealousy, envy, strife, malice, hatred, etc. will begin to leave you as you follow the leading of His spirit. In the place of these will be joy, peace with God and with others. This is what I was looking for all my life and I found it in Jesus Christ. I trust you have as well.
