Where is your God?

Let's look at the security of true believers in Jesus Christ. These are abiding in Christ and Christ in them.

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the good shepherd. He leads us into green pastures where the water is cool and still. Here is food and drink that will keep our strength up. Here we can find fellowship with the Shepherd that will bring rest and restoration. As we follow the Shepherd we will have no want!

Psalms 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
We have an Angel that is with us all the time. One Angel is more than a match for satan. One Angel, when God gives the word, will bind satan for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:2) The Angel is with us to deliver us and fight for us.

Solomon's Song 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
The Lord calls us unto His table and prepares a meal for us in the presence of our enemy. He places a big banner over us with this written on it. "I Love Charles Darby." (Put your name in place of mine.)

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Jesus Christ is the vine and we are the branches on this vine.
All of our needs, for the Christian walk, flows to us through the Vine. He is our victory, our righteousness, our very life! If we abide In Him we will bear much fruit. He supplies all that is needed. In Him we are complete! Glory to God.

Psalms 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
When trouble comes and it will from time to time. He will spread His arms and protect us. His wings are a place of shelter from the storms of life that come to us all. When we are abiding in Christ, the battle is the Lords. Let's not let the enemy drive us from that shelter.

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Following behind us, child of God, is goodness and mercy. If we stumble and fall, before our enemy can get to us goodness and mercy arrives first! They will pick us up, brush us off and stand us up again. The Lord wants us to dwell with Him forever. Thank God for His grace and mercy, in Jesus Christ.

Now for the sum of all this. Before us is Jesus Christ. On each side is an angel. Over us is a banner saying, "I love this one." Under us is the Vine, Jesus Christ. In trouble He keeps us under His feathers. Behind us is Goodness and Mercy.

May I ask you, what more do we need to walk in victory? We cannot lose if we abide in Jesus Christ.
